Overview

Volunteers are core to the success of Crocker/Riverside and we always need help!  We are excited to have our students back on campus and to help return safely C/R Volunteering is at a limited capacity.  Parents and families will be updated regarding volunteer opportunities once school begins.  Future opportunities TBD.

Volunteer Requirements

In order to start volunteering, you need to have the following items on file with the school.

  • A current and completed volunteer packet. (This needs to be done annually)
  • A copy of a recent TB Test indicating a negative result. (Good for 4 years)
  • A completed and cleared Volunteer Fingerprinting and Criminal Background Check  on file with district.
  • California Mandated Reporter Training (Good for 2 years) https://mandatedreporterca.com/training/volunteers

Classroom Volunteers

Volunteering is an important part of the success of our students and we always need help!

Check with your teacher or room parent to identify needs. We also need drivers for field trips and events. You will need to get a background check and TB test before qualifying to drive on field trips. Make sure you have everything you need.

Room Parent(s)

Post

Each class will have a Room Parent(s) who will help coordinate communications and needs for their class. This role can be one parent/guardian or split across multiple volunteers.
